Not just in the issues pertaining to tax planning but also in ways to assist with introductions for what we do. We started receiving quarterly management accounts when we joined Nabarro Poole Ltd. last year. Before the lock-down, these provided real-time profitability, up to date HMRC liabilities and allowed us to plan for growth (new hires, etc.). Post lock-down, these accounts and the information that we had to hand became invaluable. We could identify costs that could be cut/postponed as well as chasing up customers that had due and overdue invoices. I was really pleased with the extra support that Tyler and his team were giving to us, including making the furlough claims on our behalf. It was only after speaking to a number of other business owners and finding out that they had been left without support from their accountants, that I realised what an amazing job Nabarro Poole were doing!

Forward Looking…throughout the year
Tyler, Tony and the staff at Nabarro Poole help us throughout the year – not just at the year end. We met this morning to discuss our company tax and personal tax planning for the coming years and their forward looking approach is fantastic.

Proactive Accountant
The first principle of networking is to be kind and share. I attended a networking lunch recently where Tyler gave away some outstanding VAT advice which I know is going to save me a fair bit of money. One rarely meets proactive accountants but Tyler is definitely one of them.
Simple and Paper-Free Pub Accounts
When we started working with Tyler at Nabarro Poole Ltd. a few years ago, we were a typical pub when it came to our paperwork. Tiny bits of paper bundled in to an envelope at the end of each week, chasing down suppliers for VAT invoices at the end of the quarter and working out GP%’s whenever we found time. We just thought that this was how it was done…but we were wrong.
Nabarro Poole have remarkably simplified the process for us. We use online bookeeping software to track sales/takings directly from the till; purchase invoices are all dealt with electronically and the software’s bank feed option means we can see our bank balance and our cash balance in real time. Our VAT returns are done straight after the quarter end date. Tyler can provide me with key information quickly, like the gross profit %’s, staff costs as a % of turnover and other ratios that I hadn’t realised the importance of. We would highly recommend Tyler and his team at NP for any business, but especially a business like ours.
Easy to understand + Love Kashflow
We switched to Nabarro Poole Ltd. from our accountant as we were having difficulty making contact with them and getting answers to our queries. As a small business, if we have a question, we really need a timely answer and need to be able to understand the impact of the decisions we make.
We have been working with Tyler and the team for over a year now and the service has been fantastic! E-mails and calls are responded to extremely promptly and the advice is always concise and easy to understand, which is very important to us.
We have started using Kashflow for our bookeeping – what a revelation! It is very intuitive and easy to use and we can already see what a huge difference it will make to the time spent on admin.
